Brian and Sylvia’s 1959 Mid-Century Modern home is undergoing an extensive transformation. Completed work includes an interior renovation of the kitchen, living areas, guest rooms, and luxurious main suite, as well as significant exterior upgrades like landscaping, poolside hardscapes, and elevated decks. The upcoming phase involves constructing a detached ADU, multi-tiered hillside renovation, and a complete backyard transformation.

Brian and Sylvia struggled with an uncomfortable home plagued by temperature extremes, traffic noise, and ongoing maintenance issues like termite and water damage.
We designed the entire project in-house, allowing Brian and Sylvia direct input throughout each stage. Clear, detailed 3D renderings enabled swift decision-making even as the project's scope evolved.
Construction proceeded in phases, tackling hidden structural challenges discovered during demolition, including termite and water damage. About 90% of construction was performed by the Innovative Craftsmanship team, supported by specialized trades as needed.
The next phase of work is currently in plan review with the City of Newport Beach. It includes the construction of a detached ADU, a multi-tiered hillside renovation, and a complete backyard transformation with a new pool, spa, and outdoor living amenities.
Our team addressed every challenge Brian and Sylvia faced. The home now has advanced insulation, a zoned HVAC system, and soundproofing to create a serene indoor environment. Exterior lighting and hillside pathways significantly improved safety and usability, while extensive structural repairs resolved long-standing damage.
